Earned a BA in Film & Electronic Arts (with Honors) from Bard College, where he studied under artists like Peggy Ahwesh, Les Leveque, Jackie Goss, Luc Sante, Robert Kelly and Peter Hutton. His favorite poet is most likely still Ron Padgett and his favorite television series is The Larry Sanders Show.
